A haven for cyclists, Grand Cycle merges service and ideas, sports and drink. The boutique welcomes all cyclists looking for a quick break or who need a little mechanical assistance; a pit stop in every sense of the word. At Grand Cycle, you can also buy a high end bike and bike parts, rent a bike (mountain, tandem, city...although we'd recommend a mountain bike for Montreal streets), or sign up for summer cross country biking trips. You'll also find avid cyclists swapping stories and bragging about their adventures.

Some people love to ride, and others simply don't see the attraction. Grand Cycle doesn't judge, but welcomes one and all. They serve coffee, juices, pastries, lunch...biking may be a religion, but the café will satisfy your earthly appetite in a way that faith can not.

The Peak of the Plateau At 3:16 pm on April 9, 1999, Bruno's life was turned upside down. Or perhaps right side up. After working for many years in several bike shops, he finally quit and visited a rental space the very next day. It became Grand Cycle. He transformed the space, built a bike repair shop and a snack counter out of recycled furniture from Planet Hollywood. In effect, he created his very own Planet Bike. The building itself is awesome, with windows lining both sides. Directly in front of the shop lies the most travelled bike path in North America, which means each year half a million potential clients pass before his front door. Talk about visibility.
